Review (zenial.nl) : This tapes quality is not too good (as in all blackmetal demo tapes) but it developes its own atmosphere. also much more raw and brutal, then later releases, but nevertheless a *musthaveit* for every summoning fan!

This second demo. In the booklet is written : Booklet comments: "don't believe to be a friend of us, just because of having bought our demo tape, and we give a fuck shit if you like it or not, asshole!!". Lol. Things have changed ;)
Review (zenial.nl) : this tape is entirely different from the later albums of summoning. (back then they called themselves "the summoning")
i had to laugh badly, when i read the comments in the "booklet" ("don't believe to be a friend of us, just because of having bought our demon tape, and we givr a fuck shit if yuo like it or not, asshole!!"). they have changed a lot in the past 10 years. their first material is raw and brutal but on a much lower level than their works after 94. But it's still good stuff!

The Urilia Text
This fisrt promo tape was made with Pazuzu. Only the first two songs had been made by Summoning, and would be released few years later in an other version in Lugburz.
Review (zenial.nl) : this does not have too much to do with the music "pazuzu" makes in these days. it is very simmilar to the other demos (watch my reviews there). Most hard-core summoning fans will like it, the others probably wont...

Lugburz Promo Tape
Very few to say. This promo tape contains some of the track of the future Lugburz CD, in a low quality as it is a tape.
Minas Morgul Promo Tape
Official website Review : As far as the band knows one promo tape has been done to Minas Morgul. This tape just was made for napalm records only to give them information how the style of the band has changed. The tape contained different versions of “Lugburz” (within this song the vocals still had some echoes which have been dropped later), “Morthond” and “Dagor Bragollach” (within this song still guitars have been added to the music) and maybe some more songs

With Us Or Against Us
In that Napalm Records compilation, Summoning was asked to give an unreleased track. They gave a 5 minutes untitled low-quality track. Everyone who baught that disk said it did not worth.
Official website Review : This compilation was the first one done by Napalm. In contrary to the following commercial compilations of "Napalm Records" this release contained only unreleased tracks by the bands. "Summoning" presented and untitled home-made demo song which was done some when before “Minas Morgul” was released and was the first track in which "Summoning" experimented with keyboard-drum sound instead of real drums. It also contained the "Abigor" song “Shadow Lord” with "Silenius" on vocals which was only released on the Abigor Mini CD “In Memorian” many years later.
